According to the consulter Deloitte, Poland is losing billions because of the long-term unemployment.

In the last twelve months, Poland has lost about € 2.5bn due to public expenses for long-term unemployment benefits and potential revenues. Thus, the figure does not only contain direct costs, but also opportunity costs for the state.
