Poland: No Tax Hike Required

According to Poland’s Finance Minister, a tax increase is not required this year.

An increase in tax rates is not required this year to meet the deficit targets this year, which were determined by the EU Commission. "I would also expect lower increases - if any at all - in excise tax in 2015," Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek said on Friday. According to Szczurek, tax hikes were not required to meet the Commission’s expectations in 2014.
