Poland´s Prime Minister Tusk announced that the government will improve its social policy. In the next 40 years, the Polish population might decrease by 6 million.

At the moment, Poland has 38 million citizens. Since 1998, the population is shrinking steadily. According to the Polish demographer Zbigniew Strzelecki, the Polish population might decrease to 32 million in the next 40 years.
