Poland: € 100m Aid for LOT

The Polish government grants a massive capital injection for the financially stricken airline.

In total, LOT gets an aid package worth more than € 250m. This was reported by the Polish newspaper “Dziennik”. Without the aid measures, LOT would be threatened by bankruptcy, CEO Marcin Pirog admitted. “Although LOT has sold assets worth more than € 150m, there will be enormous losses.” he said.
