Poland: Bank Pekao with Ambitious Plans

Polish lender Bank Pekao intends to reduce costs and risks, and raise the number of clients by around one million until 2020.

Bank Pekao intends to reduce the cost to income ratio (C/I) to below 42 percent until the year 2020 from currently 47 percent. Moreover, the Polish lender wants to reduce the cost of risk (CoR) to 0.5 percent until 2020 from currently 0.7 percent.
