This year, the CESEE region should record a growth rate of 1.7%. However, the situation is highly different.

Today, EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) upgraded its growth forecast for the CESEE region. Before, EBRD expected economic growth to reach 1.6%. The highest growth rate in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe is expected in Poland. A growth rate of 2.9% is anticipated, EBRD says.
