The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban wants to release his country from the “debt slavery” and criticizes Austria´s reactions.

Orban gives Hungarian foreign currency loan takers the possibility to convert their debt at more favorable conditions than the banks would offer. Orban claims that the burden should be shared. Two thirds of the costs should be paid by banks, the loan takers have to bear the rest.
