The takeover of Austria´s third-largest telecommunication service supplier Orange by the Hong Kong-based Hutchison Group may be postponed. Orange´s creditors are increasingly nervous.

Orange, which is a subsidiary of Télécom France (35%) and Mid Europe Partners (65%), is currently unable to fulfill substantial loan requirements. After Orange was acquired in 2007, the telecommunication company has to reach certain results every financial quarter. So, banks should be warned of a potential payment default in time.
