ÖIAG: Markus Beyrer is the New Chairman

The so far Secretary General of the Industriellenvereinigung (Industrial Federation), Markus Beyrer, is Peter Michaelis’s successor on the board of the ÖIAG.

Due to the retirement of the current Chairman of the Board, Peter Michaelis, intensive discussions over the succession were held in the last week. Up to 40 applicants were standing ready awaiting a decision. Short-listed alongside Beyrer were the former CEO of Telekom Austria, Boris Nemsic, and the CEO of OMV, Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer.
