The European Union is obviously going to blow the planned accession negotiation with Turkey next Wednesday because of the recent escalations of violence in the capital Ankara.

After negotiations of the EU 27 member states in Brussels, Germany has signalled that due to the current political climate in Turkey, it would not agree to the next round of accession talks, according to council circles. Even the Netherlands have expressed a parliamentary reservation.
