Manner: Results Burdened by High Commodity Prices
The Austrian candy manufacturer posted a loss of € 2m in the first six months of the year. Revenue increased by almost 11%.

Manner slid into the red in the first half of 2011 due to high commodity prices. The Viennese candy manufacturer incurred a loss of € 2m in the period from January to June after a profit of € 1.16m in the first six months of 2010. For the full year, management predicts a “clearly positive result” although commodity prices are expected to remain on a high level.
