Latvia: Workforce Grows Moderately

Results of the Labour Force Survey conducted by the Central Statistical Bureau show that, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the number of active population (aged 15-74), in the 4th quarter of 2012, has increased by 1.5%.

Two thirds (66.5%) of the population in this age group were economically active; this indicator comprised 71.5% among men and 62.1% among women.
