According to a opinion poll by “Latvijas fakit”, 59% of the Latvians does not want to join the Eurozone.

The euro becomes more and more unpopular for potential new member states. 35% of the interviewees are rather against the introduction of the euro. Moreover, 24% of the respondents are absolutely against joining the monetary union. Only 35% of the Latvians favor the introduction. In total, 1009 persons were interviewed.
