The Viennese industrialist Georg Kapsch (52) is said to succeed Veit Sorger (69) as President of the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV).

Georg Kapsch, head of the management board of Kapsch TrafficCom, will presumably take over the presidency of IV. Sorger suggested Kapsch as his successor. The final decision will take place in June.
Sorger, who is in charge of IV-chairman for eight years, cannot be re-elected anymore. Although crucial votes are not common at IV, other industrialists also seem to have good chances…
