Istanbul to Receive € 22bn for World's Largest Airport

Today, a Turkish construction consortium has secured itself a record sum of around € 22bn for the contract of the construction of the world’s biggest airport in Istanbul.

The consortium of Turkish construction enterprises Limak, Kolin, Cengiz, Mapa and Kalyon presented the highest bid in advance of the contract award process, as announced by Transport Minister Binali Yildirim. The Minister claimed this to be the biggest project of its kind in the history of Turkey.
