Industrial Sector: Growth Painfully Slow

According to a survey by research institute Markit, industrial production in the Eurozone increased in October for the fourth time in a row. However, the rate of growth is still low.

Industrial production in the Eurozone is only growing slowly. Production and the number of incoming orders increased for the fourth consecutive month in October, according to a survey by market institute which involved 3,000 enterprises. The purchasing manager index increased by 0.2 to 51.3 points and therefore remained above the threshold of 50 points that signals further growth.…
