Increase in IPIC´s Shareholding at OMV Approved?

Today, the Austrian Ministry of Economics announced to have decided over IPIC´s application. The Arab fund plans to increase its stake at OMV beyond 25%.

The Abu Dhabi state fund IPIC, as a non-European investor, needs the approval of the Austria government in order to raise its stake in the domestic oil and gas group OMV. Currently, IPIC holds 24.9% in OMV and plans to extend its shareholding beyond 25%.
