Hutchison: Market Share of 30% until 2015

Hutchison Austria, the smallest telecommunication supplier in Austria, wants to become a hard competitor for the market leader Telekom Austria.

Last week, the Commission has sent a letter to Hutchison. The Commission of the EU seems to have rejected Hutchison´s offers. The Commission still has a number of severe objections against the deal. As the number of telecommunication suppliers would be reduced from four to three, the Commission decided to introduce a deepened examination.
