In August–October 2012, the official number of unemployed people was 463 thousand resulting in an unemployment rate of 10.5%.

The number of unemployed people was 463 thousand, 1.1% less than a year ago, the unemployment rate of the total observed population was 10.5%, i.e. it lessened by 0.3 percentage point year-on-year (the changes remained within the limit of sampling error).
