Half of Austrians Consider the Country Stuck in Recession

According to an online survey, the Austrians are confident and not concerned by the most recent recession in the Eurozone. With a total of 87 index points consumer’s confidence remained stable in the third quarter of 2013.

According to market research institute Nielsen, the Austrian consumer’s confidence is well above the European average, which comes at 74 points. The economic situation is even regarded more favorable than in the last quarter this year since there are 49 percent consider the country to remain in recession while three months ago it was 57 percent.
