Bank Austria´s chief economist Stefan Bruckbauer warns of exorbitant costs in case of a Greek exit out of the Eurozone. A common solution would be the better alternative.

For the EU, and thus also for Austria, the Greek exit would become costly. Stefan Bruckbauer is convinced that costs would reach € 5.0b in the best case scenario. If the EU does not achieve to contain the major fire, costs would become higher, Bruckbauer warns. Then, the Austrian taxpayers would have to pay even more.
