GM Powertrain-Austria Celebrates its 20 Millionth Transmission

The Austrian General Motors subsidiary also invested € 50m in the five-speed transmission production in 2010.

General Motors Powertrain-Austria announced an investment of 50 million euro for product improvements to the five-speed gearbox on the occasion of the 20 millionth transmission. CEO Rudolf Hamp welcomed the Minister of Economy, Reinhold Mitterlehner, and the Minister for Social Affairs, Rudolf Hundstorfer, at Vienna-Aspern.
