German Justice Puts Pressure on Former Hypo Group Executives

In order to get damage compensation, the German justice opens legal proceedings against the former CEO´s of Austrian Hypo Group, Tilo Berlin and Wolfgang Kulterer.

The Bavarian state hopes to claim damage compensation. The German prosecution authority in Munich brought a charge against Tilo Berlin and Wolfgang Kulterer, the former top executives at Hypo Group Alpe Adria. Both are suspected to have commited financial fraud. And both argue to have acted lawfully. The authority does not exclude to enlarge proceedings against further persons involved.…
