The future of Orange Austria could be decided before October. The cooperation in networks might have been the first step towards a merger with T-Mobile Austria.

France Telecom is currently evaluating its foreign participations. As announced by the group’s CEO Stéphane Richard, especially the minority holdings of the cell phone division Orange are under close scrutiny. These include the subsidiaries in Austria, Portugal and Belgium.
