In 2011, a moderate decline in new enterprise settlements was registered. Investments grew by 34%.

ABA-Invest, Austria´s enterprise settlement agency could observe a rise in investments by 34% to € 296.2m (2010: € 221.1m). As a result, 1,822 new jobs were created. This corresponds to an increase of 31.8% against 2010 (1,383 new jobs). The number of foreign company establishments declined by 7.5% to 183. In 2010, 198 new company establishments were recorded.
