New capacities are created, gas and oil exploration in Poland and Hungary to be intensified

RAG, a subsidiary of the Lower Austrian EVN plans raise the domestic natural gas storage from 5 to 6 billion cubic meters until 2014. The hourly gas quantity has been increased since 2009 from 1.9 to 2.5 million cubic meters, equivalent to 1200 MW, according to Markus Mitteregger, head of the RAG.
