The second-biggest Austrian insurance group plans has ambitious growth plans. The capital increase will bring a substantial change in Uniqa´s shareholder structure.

The size of Uniqa´s capital increase comes at € 800m, CEO Andreas Brandstetter said today. “The planned Re-IPO will be a strategic milestone for Uniqa.” he commented. According to him, the insurance group will focus on the capital market in future. Uniqa´s capital increase is attended by Raiffeisen Centrobank, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.
