Romanian Labor Costs Increased Dramatically

The EU average increase in labor costs in the 4th quarter in 2012 increased by 1.3 % throughout the EU. Front runner turns out to be Romania.

On a quarter/quarter basis, labor costs increased by 1.3 % in the last quarter of 2012. According to Eurostat’s latest reports, which were released on Friday, Romania saw in increase of 7.6 % followed by Estonia (6.7 %), Hungary (4.8 %), Lithuania (4.7 %) and Bulgaria (5.1 %).
