The Austrian bank continues looking for opportunities to expand into Poland after it has ruled out an acquisition of Bank Millenium.

Erste Group is not going to bid for a majority stake in the Polish Bank Millenium SA. According to reports, Portuguese Banco Comercial Portugues SA (BCP) intends to sell its stake of 65%.
