The Austrian bank raised its capital in connection with the agreement to acquire shares in Romanian BCR.

Upon the completion of the second tranche of agreement with the investment fund SIF Transilvania (Societatea de Investitii Financiare) a total of 4.025.566 shares of Erste Group were issued under the transaction on 12 December 2011.
