Despite Covid-19 Crisis: Austrian Automotive Supplier Pollmann International Builds Plant in Mexico
Austrian company Pollmann International expands to Mexico where it will build a plant in order to better supply the Central and South American market.

The Waldviertel-based automotive supplier Pollmann International plans to produce 1.4 million car locks per year in Mexico.
Pollmann founds its fifth global production site in Mexico, the Waldviertler said in a press release.
The first order has already been signed. Plans for a plant in Mexico "have been examined again and again in recent years". The new location is about three hours northwest of Mexico City.
The Pollmann Mexico project is already running at full speed, according to the press release. Employees from Austria are to coordinate a safe start at the site from early 2021.
