The decision on the natural gas pipeline from the Caspian region to Europe was again postponed. The decision of the operator consortium, which consists of BP and Statoil is expected for mid-2013. The “Shah Deniz II” gas field would be the most important natural gas source for Nabucco, where OMV participates in. For Nabucco, the decision is of vital interest.
