Czech Republic: Unemployment Rate on the Rise Again

In October, the Czech unemployment rate came at 8.5%. The number of vacancies fell slightly.

Last month, the unemployment rate increase form 8.4% to 8.5%. According to the Czech Ministry of Social Affairs, the number of jobless workers reached 496,762. At the same time, the number of vacancies declined by 0.2%. In the near future, the Czech unemployment quota is expected to remain stable.
