Czech Republic: Unemployment Grows Further

Among the new EU member countries, the Czech Republic has one of the lowest unemployment rates. However, the country cannot escape the trend.

Compared to December 2012, the Czech unemployment rate was up by 0.6 percentage points to 8.0%. This was published by the Czech Ministry of Social Affairs today. In total, the Czech Republic has recorded 586,000 jobless people at the end of January. Compared to December, this is an increase by 41,000 persons.
