The new Czech government under Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka has passed the vote of confidence in parliament yesterday.

As expected, the center-left coalition received a vote of confidence in parliament. The cabinet under Prime Minister Sobotka received 110 votes while 38 members of parliament voted against the new government. The rest of MPs of the 200-member lower house abstained from voting or were absent.
