Claims for about $ 19.6bn are made in the lawsuit filed by the insolvency administrator of the Madoff fund, Irving Picard. Addressed are Bank Austria, Bank Medici and its former director, Sonja Kohn. The Vienna prosecutor’s office has been conducting investigations relative to this affair for two years on suspicion of massive commercial fraud.
