Bulgaria: Bad Loans Declining

Contrary to the trend in Southeastern Europe, the Bulgarian banking sector records a substantial relief.

In the last months, the share of bad loans declined slightly. However, Bulgaria still records a remarkably high bad loan quota. In June, the share of bad loans was down to 23.55% after 23.65% in May. In July, the bad loan quota came at 23.41%. Since April, the number of accurately serviced loans is increasing.
