British Mayr-Melnhof Factory Occupied
The Liverpool-based site of the Austrian packaging company Mayr-Melnhof will be closed. Workers occupy the factory in order to prevent the shutdown.

Last Thursday, the Austrian packaging manufacturer announced to close its site in Liverpool. Mayr-Melnhof justified this step with “the business situation, the recent market development and changes in the customer structure”.
