According to the board of Austria´s Financial Market Authority, not only the banks of the Eurozone should be supervised.

The FMA suggests that the proposal of the Commission should be amended. Not only banks of the Eurozone should be supervised by the new authority. “The new banking supervision should be open to those EU member states, which are not in the Eurozone.” Helmut Ettl, director of FMA said. “At least, the countries of Eastern Europe should be invited to participate in the project.” From…
