"ECOFIN has made an important decision for Europe and, with a qualified majority, has given the go-ahead for a financial transaction tax with the instrument of enhanced cooperation," rejoiced Finance Minister Fekter. "Now the eleven States participating in the enhanced cooperation can devise a specific model which they will then present," Fekter went on.
