The Austrian retail industry stagnates. In the first quarter of 2012, revenues generated by the Austrian retail industry declined by 0.1%. In real terms, revenues rose by 2.0%. In 2011, revenues fell by 1.7%. Regarding the size, the quota of retail chains rose to 64%.
