Austrian Industrial Sector Expands
Positive production trends in industry and construction in January 2012: turnover was up by 11.1%. Construction output grew by 17.9%.

According to calculations by Statistics Austria, the 61 646 enterprises (+2.1% compared to the previous year) in the entire industry and construction sector turned over a total of € 18.8bn (+11.1%) in January 2012, coupled with increasing employment (856 657 persons, +2.7%).
