The Austrian bank secret for foreigners will be abolished in 2017, which is a year later than previously announced by EU Commissioner for Taxes Algirdas Semeta. At tomorrow’s ECOFIN meeting in Brussels Finance Minister Michael Spindelegger will present proposals for amendments of the EUSD (European Savings Directive).
