US rating agency Standard & Poor’s has confirmed the Austrian rating at “AA+” with a stable outlook.

The confirmation reflects the stable government’s policy of Austria, and a foreseeable economic policy supporting growth. In January 2012 Austria lost its Triple A with S&P.
The reason for the stable outlook is the expectation that the Austrian economy is benefitting from the global economic recovery and that the government will follow the path of strict consolidation.…
