Austria: Alpine’s Bankruptcy Claims Amount to € 4.15bn

In regard to construction company Alpine’s insolvency, creditors have so far registered claims in the amount of € 4.15bn, as announced by liquidator Stephan Riel in the run-up to Wednesday’s examination hearing.

After the examination of 9,600 single claims a preliminary volume of € 1.5bn was accepted. Assets of Alpine cannot be estimated as the sale of properties and construction machines is still ongoing. Creditors will in all likelyhood only be compensated with a small fraction of their investments.
