Pecik, a former associate of Kovats might get again into A-Tec. Several years ago, the investors separated because of differences.

Currently, the A-Tec Group has a stock exchange value of 85 million euro. The Group of Mirko Kovats, with its 12,000 employees and a turnover of 2.7 billion euro would be the third largest bankruptcy in Austria's economic history. The trigger is, according to A-Tec, failed projects in Australia of the AE&E subsidiary; the staff however questions the official version.
