Schuler Acquires Majority Stake in Chinese Press Manufacturer

Schuler AG, a member of international technology Group Andritz, has signed a contract for the acquisition of a 51% stake in the Chinese press and machine tool manufacturer Yangzhou Metal Forming Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (Yadon). Yadon is a manufacturer of mechanical presses in China and has annual sales of approximately 120 million euros.

Schuler AG, a member of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has signed a contract for the acquisition of a 51% stake in the Chinese press and machine tool manufacturer Yangzhou Metal Forming Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (Yadon). Yadon is one of the leading manufacturers of mechanical presses in China and has annual sales of approximately 120 million euros. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The acquisition is subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.

ANDRITZ AG / Arbitration case in Montes del Plata settled

ANDRITZ Pulp Technologies Punta Pereira S.A., a subsidiary of international technology Group ANDRITZ and Celulosa y Energía Punta Pereira S.A. ("CEPP"), a Joint Venture by Stora Enso and Arauco, have amicably settled the arbitration proceedings between them in connection with several contracts for delivery of equipment and systems for CEPP's Montes del Plata pulp mill. The settlement will not have a material effect on the ANDRITZ Group's earnings, thus ANDRITZ's earnings expectations for the full year 2015 remain unchanged.

ANDRITZ AG Annual General Meeting decides to double the dividend to 1.00 euros per share

At today's 108th Annual General Meeting of ANDRITZ AG, the shareholders agreed to increase the dividend to 1.00 euros per share for the 2014 business year (2013 business year: 0.50 euros). The ex-dividend date is March 31, 2015, and the date of dividend payment is April 2, 2015.

Technology Group Andritz showed slight sales increase in the first half of 2014 in a still challenging overall economic environment. Sales increased by +1.9%. The order intake amounted to +18.0%. EBITA amounted to +37.7% and the EBITA margin was 5.0%.

International technology Group ANDRITZ is to supply the electromechanical equipment for the new Lauca hydropower plant, Angola, via Construtora Norberto Odebrecht to GAMEK (Gabinete de Aproveitamento do Medio Kwanza), a part of the Angolan power corporation ENE (Empresa Nacional de Electricidade). The order value for comparable deliveries lies in the lower three-digit million euro range; the order will enter into force in the course of 2014 upon fulfillment of all administrative requirements. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2017.
