Vienna Insurance Group still sees favorable growth prospects in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
Generally, VIG is interested in further acquisitions, Hagen explains. Due to the strong market position in some countries, VIG faces restrictions under cartel law. In some countries, growth rates will reach double digit numbers this year, Hagen says.
