Sales Increase at Frauenthal

The Austrian component supplier, which is listed on the Viennese Stock Exchange, could improve its financial data moderately.

In 2010, The Frauenthal Group experiences an upward trend again. The company pushed its sales by 19% up to € 539m. The group´s EBIT is expected to amount to € 21.5m. In 2009, Frauenthal had to report significant losses. As a result, the company had to restructure ifself.

EBITDA in the Automotive Components segment accounted for € 34m (€ +40m) and could thus reach a turnaround. Frauenthal did not report numbers of the two other divisions. However, sales and results are to be improved. The group´s equitiy ratio moved from 28.3% to 30%, liquidity was up by € 2m.

Frauenthal seems to be slightly optimistic to be able to continue the upward trend. The high capacity utilization is expected to be maintained. The final financial statement will be published by the end of March 2011.

Frauenthal is a diversified group, consisting of the divisions “Industrial Honeycombs” (SCR catalysts for thermal power stations and diesel motors, heat sinks and casting filters), “Automotive Components” (steel springs and braking system air reservoirs) and “Wholesale Plumbing Supplies”.

The group has eleven production sites in Europe and sales companies in South Korea and the USA. It is run from Frauenthal Holding AG headquarters in Vienna. Frauenthal Holding AG´s shares and bonds are listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
