The new index covers thirty enterprises instead of formerly twenty and reduced the dominance of the banking industry.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange GPW has introduced the new Stock Exchange “WIG30” on Monday for the first time where 30 of the biggest listed enterprises were admitted. The new stock exchange will replace WIG20, which will be published until the end of 2015.
